Material and paint

While working with fabric that I could use to enclose my box, I tried staining/dying it with a mixture of black paint and water. I soaked the material in it for around an hour until it has absorbed all the liquid.
I laid the material out on brown paper to dry for a little bit of time, but I grew impatient. To speed up drying, I placed another brown sheet over them and stood on it.

 

 

 

When I removed the material off the brown paper, it had left and interesting print on the paper. I decided to keep them as they had left the paper looking detailed and textured. 

Overall I was pretty pleased with the end result, even if it was a mistake.
